Privacy Policy

How AGCY handles personal information collected through this website.

Last updated: 21 September 2026

Who we are

This website is operated by AGCY Limited, trading as AGCY (NZBN ), a New Zealand company. In this policy, “AGCY”, “we” and “us” mean that company.

This policy is written with the New Zealand Privacy Act 2020 in mind. You can contact us about privacy at [email protected].

What we collect

Information you send us

If you use the enquiry form, we collect what you type into it: your name (optional), an email address or phone number, and your message. You choose what to include. Please don’t include personal information about other people, or sensitive information, unless it’s needed to explain your enquiry.

Technical information

When you visit the website, or submit the form, technical information such as your IP address, browser and device details, and the time of the request is processed by the services that deliver the website and protect the form. We use it to deliver the site, to limit spam and repeated submissions, and to keep the site secure.

We don’t have user accounts or a mailing list, and we don’t use enquiries to add you to one.

Cookies and analytics

This website doesn’t use advertising cookies and doesn’t run analytics.

The spam check on the enquiry form is provided by a third party. It is loaded only when you reach the form, and it may set or read technical data in your browser to tell people from automated traffic.

How we use it

  • To read your enquiry and reply to you
  • To decide whether and how we can help, and to keep sensible records of the conversation
  • To protect the website and the form from spam and abuse
  • To meet our legal obligations

We don’t sell personal information.

Who else handles it

We use service providers to run the website and handle enquiries. They process information on our behalf and only for those purposes. The providers we use are:

[Providers to be confirmed before launch: hosting, email delivery and spam protection]

Some providers may store or process information outside New Zealand. Where that happens, we take reasonable steps to make sure the information is protected to a standard comparable with the Privacy Act.

We may also disclose personal information where the law requires it.

Keeping it, and keeping it safe

We keep enquiries for as long as we need them to respond and to keep sensible records, and then delete or anonymise them. Technical logs are kept by our providers for the periods set in their own settings.

We use reasonable safeguards, including encrypted connections and restricted access to enquiries. No method of transmission over the internet is completely secure, so please keep that in mind when deciding what to send.

Your rights

You can ask us for the personal information we hold about you, and ask us to correct it. Email us and we’ll respond as the Privacy Act requires.

If you’re unhappy with how we’ve handled your information, please tell us first so we can put it right. You can also complain to the Office of the Privacy Commissioner at privacy.org.nz.

Changes

If we change how the website handles personal information, for example by adding analytics or a new provider, we’ll update this policy and the date above.
